Summer Week 2

Day 1
Today the girls were woken up at 5 a.m. by Hector the cat. After some panic they went back to sleep during this time Thaddee was comfortably sleeping. One hour later, Daphne asked if we could stop the cockerel. At 8 a.m. we all woke up, went to have breakfast and we ate toasts with peanut butter and jam. We then brushed our teeth. After that, we helped with the horses. We were three teams; Agathe, Thaddee and Lucie were together and they brushed Annie, Jimmy and George. Leopoldine and Daphne brushed Annie, Jamie and Buster. Margot and Louise brushed Zulu, Rory, Shrek and Eric. The first group was composed of Leopoldine and Daphne and they respectively rode Jamy and Buster. They cantered and trotted. Then came, Margot on Rory and Louise on Shrek and they did leg yield. And finally Lucie on Buster and Thadee on Jimmy did serpentines. We fed the horses and showered some of them (the ones we rode). After that, we went to eat and we had sandwiches. We laughed a lot and got traumatised by the snail that we called Vodi the snail. We had some free time and rested in our rooms before going to English class with Grace.We learned about the “wh” questions and grammar stuff, we then wrote a text about us. We went to the swimming pool with music in the car and we found out that Thadee was actually Justin Bieber. We played in the swimming pool with the frisbees and went into the slides. We had a lot of fun playing there. We went home and wrote the blog together . We will then eat chili con carne.

Day 2
We woke up at 7:45. We dressed up and went to have breakfast. We ate toasts with butter and jam. We drank apple juice. We brushed our teeth and our hair. We went to the stables. Lucie, Thaddee and Agathe brushed Rory, Annie, Jimmy and Eric. Margot and Louise brushed Albert, Jack, Zulu and Rubix. Margot finally touched a chicken! Leopoldine and Daphne rode first, they rode Jamie and Buster. They walked over the pools and cantered. Then, Margot and Louise rode Zulu and Shrek. It was great! They did leg yield. And finally Lucie and Thaddee rode Eric and Jimmy. They walked over pools and cantered aswell.
We have painted on horse shoes. Agathe painted flowers, Leopoldine drawed hearts, Margot and Louise will make leopard on their horse shoe. We tidied up the stables and showered the horses. We took a group picture and finally we fed the horses. Thaddee put his finger in Jimmy’s nose but not on purpose! That was disgusting! We ate lunch, we had sandwiches, croque-monsieur, crisps, and chocolate cakes. We had a huge break because Michelle and Grace had a meeting. Margot slept while Thadee, Louise, Agathe, Lucie, Leopoldine and Daphne were playing Uno. Louise cheated and won but it was still very funny. We put some music on (Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter…). We took our English class and we worked on food and restaurants. We did an oral comprehension and it was fun! Louise was working England history and she found very interesting. We then did drama and we were split in two teams; Daphne, Lucie, Leopoldine and Agathe were together and Margot, Thaddee and Louise were together. We did improvisation, the girls did a funny scene about fruits and the other group did a funny one about Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson. We practised a script about UFOs and snacks for a show. We did impro again and laughed a lot. We took a shower and called our parents. Thaddee, Margot and Louise played UNO and then read books while listening to music.

Day 3
Today we woke up very late at 9:40 a.m.. It was great to have some rest !! We dressed up and had breakfast and Margot spilled her milk. Then, we had a long break and we played badminton and discussed a lot, we also read and listened to music. It was funny !! After that, we had our English class. We studied a song that Thaddee loves : Love Yourself by Justin Bieber. We had to write the lyrics while listening to the song. We then did the same thing with Love Story by Taylor Swift. At the end of the class, we all sang together !! We had another break because Michelle and Grace had a meeting. We discussed again and read while listening to music. We ate lunch and Louise ate Leopoldine’s leftovers. It was really good. We had another break but this time, everyone was reading while listening to music. We left to go to a craft club. We met Karsty and Louis there. We started by doing Pompom to stick on a pen. We had several colour choices. Then, we drew on bookmarks. Louise drew NYC and fashion books, Margot drew leopard print and Vivienne Westwood’s symbol. Thaddee drew giraffes and smileys. Lucie drew her name with flowers surrounding it, Leopoldine did the same. Daphne drew her initial letter and flowers, Agathe drew her initial letter, a rose bouquet and a pony. We played ping-pong and Uno. Michelle then came to bring us back. We watched a horse riding class before getting a shower. Agathe revised her galop 2 with Grace while we were writing the blog. We will eat hamburgers and then watch a movie all together. We don’t know what we will watch but can’t wait !

Day 4
Today we woke up at 8:30 a.m. and got dressed up then we went to breakfast and Thaddee put way too much Nutella on his toast !! He had Nutella all over his face !!!! We brushed our teeth. We went to the stables and jumped.The first group was made of Thaddee on Brook, Daphne on Jamie and Leopoldine on Badger. They jumped at trot. While they were riding, Margot and Agathe brushed Rory, Zulu and Eric. They also revised her galop 2. Louise brushed Shrek, Jimmy and Anie. Louise, Lucie and Margot rode together. Louise rode Zulu, Lucie rode Eric and Margot rode Shrek. They jumped but Lucie fell off of Eric. She then rode Shrek and nailed it! We showered the horses and washed Brook’s tail. They first did shampoo, water, conditioner and brushed it. It was very satisfying! We painted the horse shoes. Thaddee, Leopoldine, Agathe and Daphne finished theirs. They were very pretty!
We had lunch and no one spilled anything ! We had a 30 min break and read books while listening to music. Then we had our english class and studied horse anatomy and materials in english. We had a little snack composed of chocolate waffles and milky mouse. It was really good ! We then had drama class and did a lot of improvisation. We did our show in front of an audience :Michelle and Millie. We did three plays and they especially liked the last one with the aliens. They laughed a lot ! We wrote the blog and we will take our shower and finish the film.
Day 5:
Today we woke up at 8:40 a.m.and got dressed, then we went to breakfast. We had some toast with Nutella and Biscoff then we brushed her teeth after we went to the stable. Today we didn’t have a riding lesson but a very nice hack. The first teams was made of Margot, Louise and Thaddee and Grace rode with us it was very great and we also do a big and long canter alone ,it’s like a film after the second teams it’s made of Lucie, Daphne and Leopoldine and Milly on Buster, Jamie, Badger and Shrek. They trotted and walked. We finished our horse shoes. We cleaned the saddles and brushed the horses. Then was lunchtime, and it was great because we had peaches and apricots and cakes… We had a break and made our luggages while listening to music and writing little words to eachothers. We had our english class and studied how to take care of a horse. There were texts and questions. Louise took a Cambridge test. We wrote the blog. We will then do a picnic at the lake and swim there as well. It will be very funny because we have water toys and volleyballs. We are going to eat hotdogs! We can’t wait! We are all a bit sad because it is the last day and we will miss everyone.
