Summer Week 1
TE BLOG
Day 1:
Today we woke up at 8 am and we dressed up at 8:05 am. We went downstairs to eat a delicious breakfast : we had croissants, toasts, cereals and juices. After this, we brushed our teeth and went to the stables. We first brushed many ponies : Alienor brushed Shrek, Rory, Eric and Rubix ; Thaddee and Agathe brushed Buster, Jamie and Zulu. Then, Agathe and Thaddee had their horse riding lesson while Alienor was brushing the other ponies. Constance arrived at the yard to have a horse riding lesson with Alienor .During their lesson, Agathe and Thaddee walked,trotted and cantered in the round .After, they went to the career for the rest of their lesson. Then, Constance and Alienor had their horse riding with Grace as the other group. They did walk, trot, canter and leg yield.
During this time ,Agathe and Thaddee watched the horse riding lesson and brushed Zulu.
Everybody was feeling very very very very very very very very hot. When they all finished their activities ,we all went to Grace’s new house to brush Brooke and Badger .We came back to the house to have lunch. It was made of sandwiches ,chips ,apples and chocolate cakes. We had some free time after lunch, and Agathe played the guitar and Alienor played the piano. After this, we went to the swimming pool because of the heat wave instead of having an English class. It was really cool because the slides were very long and there were some beautiful lights rings in it. We cool for 1 hour and a half before coming home. Then, we had our English lesson at 7 pm : we studied some exercises about surviving on a desertic island. After this, we wrote our daily blog before having dinner !
Day 2:
Today we woke up earlier because of the heat: we got up at 7 am. We dressed up and went straight to the stables to have a breakfast picnic .We first brushed the ponies : Agathe brushed buster and Alienor and Thaddee brushed Jimmy .Then Agathe and Thaddee had their horse riding lesson with Grace :they all rode the same ponies as yesterday .They did doubles and serpentines .During this time ,Constance prepared Annie for her lesson and Alienor brushed Eric .They had their lessons with Grace after and did demi-volte with legyield .Then ,we went earlier to the house because of the heat wave . There we had free time in the common room . Agathe ,Alienor and Thaddee played piano and chatted all together .After ,we had lunch inside to be fresher .Thaddee said “I hope we will go to the swimming pool” as he said all day long . Then we had free time before the English lesson . During the English lesson ,we talked about William the Conqueror and the Great Fire of London . At the end of the lesson ,Grace introduced a woman called Garance .She is a drama teacher who went to give us a drama lesson .It was really fun ;we did some games ,some improv and we invented stories . Afterwards ,we went to the stables to put on their rugs for the horses .When that was done ,we came back to the house to have our showers .
Finally ,we watched the first part of a film called “17 again” before writing the blog .
Day 3 :
Today we woke up at 8 am and we dressed up. We had breakfast as usual and brushed our teeth. We went to the stables where Agathe had an extra horse riding lesson with Grace: she rode Buster and did walk, trot, canter and serpentines .During this time,Alienor and Thaddee brushed Rory, Shrek and Annie. After this ,they all brought hay to the horses who were in fields near Grace’s house and brought Brooke and Badger to the stables. Then, we came back to the house to have an English lesson before lunch .We listened to two songs: Sugar from Maroon 5 and Dark Horse from Katy Perry and Juicy J. The lunch was like yesterday. Then we did a creating activity : we decorated some horse shoes with pearls feathers and fluffy strings with Milly. It was very fun and nice. Afterwards, we went bowling with Grace and Milly. Grace was really good and she won the game. We also ate some crisps and we drank lemonade for Agathe and Alienor, violette syrup for Thaddee and smoothies for Grace and Milly. Then, we went back to the house and in the car we played ”petit bac” .We buyed the groceries before going home. After, we made the blag before eating delicious hamburgers ! Now, we are going to eat some ice cream for dessert !
Day 4:
Today, we woke up at 7 am ,we dressed up and we had breakfast at the stables like tuesday. It was made of compotes, madeleines and bread with apple juice. This Thursday, we didn’t have any horse riding lesson but a hack with Grace. Agathe rode Buster, Thaddee rode Brooke, Alienor rode Shrek and Grace rode Zulu. It was really nice, we did a long tour and the landscapes were beautiful. After coming back, we showered Shrek and Buster and we did a complete shampoo to Brooke. The shampoo smelled like Banana and the other smelled like coconut. At the end, we said that Brooke will be the Miss France of the ponies. Then we went to the house and we finished the movie “17 again” and we began “The Truman Show”. We didn’t finish it because we had lunch as usual. After we had free time and English lessons with Grace: we studied the English Monarchy. During the free time we had afterwards, we continued the movie. Then Garance arrived to give us a drama lesson while we prepared some theatre shows for Michelle, Grace and Milly. We did a poem called “Lively Lou and Lazy Lynn” and we invented a little sketch on Star Wars. It was really funny ! After we finished the movie before Agathe had a lesson with Grace for her galop 1 exam. During this time, Alienor and Thaddee came with Michelle and Milly to the stables to put the fly rugs on Rory, Shrek, Annie, Zulu, Rubix and George. Now we are writing the blog before having a delicious dinner.
Day 5:
Today we woke up at 8 am and got dressed .We had our breakfast at the house this time : we ate frosties and coco pops and we had bread and jam .We brushed our teeth before going to the stables .Garance ,our drama teacher ,had a horse riding lesson before us . During this time, we brushed many ponies : first, Alienor brushed Shrek ,Agathe brushed Jamie and Thaddee brushed Rory. Then, Alienor brushed Jimmy who was trying to eat the brushes ! Agathe and Thaddee were brushing Eric, who was really dirty : we had big stains of mud ! Afterwards ,we all brushed Annie before the horse riding lesson .Today, we all had our horse riding lesson together before jumping ! It was very fun and we all loved this (except the moment were Buster want to jump the wrong obstacle).Then we showered all the horses we rode except Eric because he had a spa session: we washed him with the famous banana shampoo and a new one which contained monoî ;After we went to the house as usual and we had a free time where Alienor played piano during this time Agath studied her Galop 1 exam then we had lunch as usual and we had free time and we had a last English lesson (except Thaddée because he stay there to 1 more week) about “Horse facts” and we did the blog. But after that we will go to the lake to have a swim before having dinner .This is the end !!!!!!!!!!
