Summer Week 7
Monday
Today , we woke up at 7 am.
We got ready then we had breakfast. We ate cereal , bread and nutella. We went to the stables. There was 3 riding groups :
The first one was Charlotte and Celeste with Shrek and Rory
Leighton did the riding lesson.
The second one was Aymee , Theodore and Alice with Swing , Zulu and Annie.
Grace did the riding lesson.
The last one was Flora with Buster.
Leighton did the riding lesson.
We washed Zulu , Buster and Archie’s tails then we brushed all the horses.
We ate sandwiches and chips with fruits.
We played UNO for a while then we had English class.
We learnt the equestrian vocabulary in English :
The bridle , the saddle , the rider and the body of the horse.
We did an exercise to force ourselves to remember the vocabulary.
Next , we went to the swimming pool and we ate Mr Freeze.
The slide is really cool and we had a lot of fun
We swam , played and talked. We had dinner : sausage with potatoes.
Tuesday
Today , we woke up at 8am then we had breakfast like yesterday.
We went to the stables to take care of the ponies.
There was 3 riding groups :
The first one was Flora and Valentine with Rubix and Buster.
We learnt how to trot on the right foot.
Grace taught the lesson.
The second one was Theodore and Aymee with Zulu and Swing.
We did a shallow loop and leg yield.
Grace taught the lesson.
The last one was Celeste , Alice and Charlotte with Rory , George and Shrek.
We did leg yield.
Leighton taught the lesson.
We ate sandwiches and chips with fruits.
We played UNO a little bit then we had English class.
They were 2 English classes :
Grace the teacher and her students were Theodore , Aymee and Alice.
We wrote about our life and did some exercise.
Leighton the teacher and his students were Charlotte , Flora and Celeste.
We answered some questions about how to take care of a horse and translated dressage training.
We ate snacks.
We spent the rest of the afternoon at the stables. We put the horses in the paddock then did some painting. We showered then ate dinner , it was really good : Pasta with cordon bleu. We finished the movie.
Wednesday
Today, we woke up at 9am . We had a lay in .Then we ate breakfast like yesterday.
We did the English lesson for 1hour and a half : we did a piece of drama.
It was fun , it was a remix of Cinderella . Leighton did drama class.
The characters were :
Charlotte was Cinderella
Theodore was the prince
Celeste was the fairies godmothers
Alice the stepsisters
Flora and Aymee were the narrators.
We feed the horses their lunch.
We ate sandwiches like every day. We talked and chilled.
After that we played UNO and Kems , Flora lost again 😂
Then at 3pm we went to the game park, we played pulse up and bowling.
It was really funny and made us learn how to communicate. Charlotte was the winner ( with barriers)
We showered then ate dinner, it was really good : macaroni cheese.
Thursday
We woke up at 8 am, like yesterday. We went to the stables to take care of the ponies. There was 3 riding groups :
Group 1 : Charlotte and Alice with Zulu and George.
Group 2 : Aymee, Celeste and Theodore with Shrek, Annie and Archie.
Group 3 : Flora with Swing.
We did an exercise with poles to work on the suppleness of the horses. We ate our sandwiches
We had English class
Grace the teacher and her students were Theodore , Aymee and Alice.
We wrote about our life and did some exercise.
Leighton the teacher and his students were Charlotte , Flora and Celeste.
We answered some questions about movies and vocabulary.
We filled in the lyrics of the song “Viva la vida” by Coldplay.
We ate snacks before going to the stables. We put the horses in the paddock and brushed them . Charlotte did her dressage training with Annie. We prepared Badger for the kids and cleaned the buckets of the horses.
We ate burgers and fries then we did the drama piece. We played UNO and Kems.
We watched the end of the movie.
Friday
We woke up at 8am then we ate breakfast. We got ourselves ready then went to the stables. There were 3 riding groups : Today it was a jumping lesson for everyone.
Group 1 : Flora and Valentine with Swing and Rubix.
Group 2 : Charlotte , Theodore and Celeste with Annie , Zulu and Shrek.
Group 3 : Alice and Aymee with Annie and Shrek.
The group 1 brushed the ponies.
The group 2 brushed the horses and cleaned the brushes.
We finished our paintings and ate our sandwiches.
Charlotte and Aymee did their theories while the others played UNO.
We did the drama piece and did English. We played Scrabble in English and Theodore and Celeste won. We then go to the lake for the rest of the afternoon and the evening. We paddle and play in the lake. We did the slice. We ate pizza , nuggets, pasta , tomato , quiche and chips . It was really good , we enjoyed our food.
We packed our suitcases and played Kems.
