Summer Week 1
23/06
Today, we woke up at 7:30 and we ate the delicious breakfast all together. We imagined a technic to chase flies with our glasses. It isn’t very efficient and it make noise, but it’s fun. As usual, we brushed our teeth and our hair (except Aurelien). Then, we went to the stables where we were divided in three groups : Juliette (a.k.a. Juju), Juliette and Heloise (there’s a accent and a trema missing). In the second group, there was Alienor and Aurelien and in the third group there was Agathe, Alice and Alexia. Juliette, Heloise and Juju rode Rory, Shrek and Annie and had their lesson with Grace. In the second group, Alienor rode Swing and Aurelien rode Rubix. They also had their lesson with Grace. Then the third group had their lesson with Leighton. Agathe rode Brooke, Alexia rode Swing and Alice rode Buster. The horses were very kind. During the lesson of one group, the others took care of the poneys, groomed them and brought food in the paddocks with Leighton. After our lesson, we ate sandwiches for lunch. In free time after lunch we played tennis table and badminton. We had an english class with Grace and we worked about horse vocabulary and their life. Then we get prepared to go to the swimming pool and we lived. At the swimming pool, we played volleyball and we fight to get the ball. Then we slode down the slides in many funny positions. We showered ourseleves and we get back to home. We wrote the daily journal and we ate.
24/06 :
At 7:50 we woke up and got dressed.Then, we had breakfast : we ate coco pops , smacks and toast with tartichoc, strawberry jam. After, we went to the stable and brushed horses. The first group rode the same horses, except Juju who rode Archie with Grace. They did pol work. During this time, the others groups brushed Albert, George, Zulu, Jamie, Brooke and Annie. It was the 3rd group which rode after the first and they also did pol work. For the 2nd group Alienor and Aurelien had Swing and Shrek but there was a little trouble because Swing hates Shrek and got angry when she approached him, so he took canter. They did the same program at the others groups.
Special activity today: we painted horse shoes; Alice did a horse shoe for Buster, Juliette for Rory and Jack, Alexia for Brooke, Agathe for Zulu, Alienor for Swing, Juju for Shrek, Heloise for Badger and Aurelien did it for Annie. We decided that Zulu was the favourite horse of all of them.
Then, we ate sandwiches like the day before. We found a new technique to chase the flies, and it is with the hands, and it works !
During the English class, we worked on an oral comprehension. We also did exercises on different sports and holidays. Then we changed into horse clothes because Alexia and Aurelien had a second horse lesson : Alexia rode Rubix and Aurelien Shrek. The others took care of the horses and watched Shrek’s jumps. We also put back the horses in the paddocks. After this, we finished our shoe horse and cleaned the painting table. We came back to the bedrooms to take our showers and write this blog.

This morning, we woke up at 10:00. We had a lay-in. Then we had breakfast with cereals and toasts. As usual, we brushed our teeth and our hair. Alexia had an extra riding lesson and she brushed many horses. During the lesson, we played uno and Juju made us discover Undercover. after, we had lunch with sandwiches. We also started a play, during our drama lesson (instead of our English class). It’s called The Emperor’s New Hair. Juju and Heloise played the narrator, Aurelien the emperor, Alexia the travelling salesperson, Alice Mr. Twiddle, Juliette Mr. Twee, everybody (except the despotic emperor Aurelien) were the townspeople, and Alienor the Little Girl (little boy). Then, we took the car and went to the famous Cadre Noir. We visited it, guided by Marion, a Normand guide who talks Spanish and Italian. We saw the “Grand Manege’’, the “Sellerie Prestige’’, and the stables. We profited to touch the horses, and the iconic Sertorius de Rima Z* IFCE. We bought keyrings and postcards. It was amazing !
We came back and took our showers. Outside, the thunder was rolling. In the girl’s bedroom, we made a musculation contest. We also looked the rain falling down. We rehearsed our play, write this blog and had dinner.
26/06
We woke up at 8:00 am then we ate the same thing that we usually eat. After we brush our teeth and our hair . Then we went to the stable and brushed the ponies and after that we took care of the horses. The first lesson was taught by Leighton and Alienor rode Shrek and she loved him, Aurelien had Rubix like the first day. Today there was a new girl , Louise, she did her lesson with them and rode Swing. Alice Alexia with Leighton did canter and Agathe did trot .The last group was composed of Juliette Juliette and Heloise with Grace. Then we ate sandwiches. We had English lesson with Grace for two hours. We did exercises and comprehension about the great fire of london. We ate ice cream for the snack and went to the stable.Aurelien had an extra horse lesson with Leighton during this time the others prepared the horses and the pony for the paddock. Then Alexia had a riding lesson too with Maelie, a girl who helps at the stable. They rode Rubix and Swing. During this time,we prepared the jumping arena for tomorrow. After we sponged Rubix and Swing, we took them to the paddock. At the end we recupere the buckets of the horses and we washed them. We went back home and we took our showers, and we are now writing this blog. And now we’re gonna have dinner which is mac & cheese.

Today we woke up at 8 : 10. We had breakfast and ate, as the other days, Tartichoc with toasts, milk, juice, jam, butter, muesli and smacks. Then, like yesterday, we brush our teeth and our hair. After, we went to the stable to take care of the horses and have our lesson. And today was a special day: we jumped !
When Zulu, Swing, Brooke, Annie, George and Shrek were brushed, the third group rode. Alexia rode Swing, Agathe rode Buster and Alice rode Rubix. Buster took canter wether than trot because he was very excited. After, the second group rode and jumped too. Louise rode Swing like Alexia, Aurelien Shrek and Alienor Rubix who was very kind because he loved jumping (big surprise). Unfortunately, he had a painful foot so he couldn’t jump very much. We painted during the jumpings of the others, so we could observe them. After our riding lessons, Louise came back to her house. We ate our sandwiches : as usual, we tipped over many carafes (Juliette had been really wet).
Then we had free time, and after our english lesson : Today, we studied Ed Sheeran and we sang Bad habits (Ed Sheeran) and Delicate (Taylor Swift). The lesson was shorter than the other days, because we had a road trip at the Moncontour lake. We swam for two hours in the lake before eating really early : it was 18:00 ! The picnic was royal, we had sausages, pizzas, salad, crisps, cake, and sweets. We played many games : volleyball, americain ball (in the lake) and we swung on the swings. This road trip was amazing and we were sad to come back. We came home (and we listened to music in the car) and now we are writing the last day of ze bloggers wick.
