The girls
Monday October 20th
Today we woke up at 8:30 am and dressed up. For breakfast we ate toasts with nutella, marmalade or tournesol butter. Some girls took hot chocolate, some took tea and others nothing. Then we brushed our teeth and we went to the stables to take care of the horses and have our horse riding lesson. Louison and Ines started to brush Annie, at the same time, Garance, Mathilde and Alienor brushed Zulu, and Lisa and Mailys brushed Rory. The first group was Ines who rode Annie and Lisa who rode Rory. The second one was Liv with Zulu, Louison with Archie and Mailys with Annie.Those groups did a leg yield. The last one was composed with Garance and Rubix, Alienor and Shreck and with Mathilde and Swing. At the same time of the first lesson, Louison, Garance and Mathilde brushed Archie and Albert; Liv, Mailys and Alienor brushed George and Jack. Afterward, Louison, Mailys and Liv got prepared for their lesson. Then, during the second lesson Garance,Mathilde, Alienor with Pauline brought Swing, Rubix, Shreck and Badger to brush them. Lisa and Ines brushed Shreck and we all watched the end of the second lesson. After, we got prepared for the last lesson. During their lesson, Garance, Mathilde and Alienor did half-circles and serpentines. Louison and Lisa brushed Archie and Alf. After the lesson, Liv, Mailys and Garance gave a shower to Rubix (with hair conditioner). The other girls brushed the rest of the horses and Lisa, Alienor and Louison brought Shrek in the paddock. After that, all the girls fed the horses.
We went to eat sandwiches (Liv, Ines and Mailys ate chicken roti sandwiches, Mathilde, Lisa and Louison ate “croques-Monsieur”, Garance ate an egg-mayo sandwich and Alienor ate a tuna and salad sandwich.
After lunch, we went to the lounge to play games like UNO. Then, we prepared ourselves for the English lesson. We did exercises and a dictation about Halloween.
Then we went in the car to the swimming-pool where we played volley-ball. We stayed 2 hours there, and we took a shower. We came back home. We ate potatoes and chicken tenders, and ice-cream as a dessert.
Right now, we are writing the blog !! 😀
Tuesday October 21st
Today we woke up at 8:30, had breakfast, ate the same as yesterday, brushed our teeth before going to the stables. Arriving at the stables, we changed our shoes and took brushes to take care of horses and ponies. Louison, Lisa and Liv (3L) brought Zulu to the paddock to brush him before his lesson. Today, the groups were the same as yesterday, in the same order, the first one was composed by Ines with Shrek and Lisa with Zulu. They did stops. During this time, Alienor and Mathilde brushed Rubix; Liv and Louison brought in Rory; Mailys and Garance brushed Annie. During the second lesson, Liv rode Annie, Louison rode George and Mailys rode Rory. They worked on leg yield like yesterday. George was very fresh ! During this time, Garance, Mathilde and Alienor brought in Archie, washing his tail and the buckets for horse’s food. For the last group, Mathilde rode Shrek, Alienor rode Annie and Garance rode Rubix, her favorite horse ! They did leg yield. Ines, Louison and Liv Washed George’s tail and Lisa and Mailys took care of Rory. Then we had lunch, everybody ate the same as yesterday. After we had a break before the English class. The theme is Halloween, we did cross-words and saw a video about Halloween. We also wrote short horror stories. Then, we went to the stables for Liv, Mailys and Mathilde’s lesson. They jumped. During this time, Louison and Lisa brushed Buster and washed his tail and brushed Alf. Mathilde and Garance brushed Badger and Rubix, Ines and Alienor brushed Swing, Jamie and Brooke then we watched and filmed the lesson. We came back home to take our showers and eat lasagne.
Wednesday October 22th
Today, we woke up at 9:00 am, we dressed up in our normal clothes except Liv and Mailys who dressed up in their riding clothes. We had breakfast at 9:30, the same as the other day but we had boiled eggs. Then, we had a break for 30 minutes and had English class. We worked on the English world around horse riding, different parts of horse, the part of the saddle, bridle, different brushes; we finished the lesson by colouring a unicorn. We continued colouring until 13:30. During this time Liv and Mailys did a hack with Shrek and Swing, it was very funny and they were laughing. After we had lunch, we ate the same sandwich as yesterday, we continued to colour and we did Halloween lanterns in the shape of pumpkins, haunted houses and skulls.After that we had showers and we watched a movie called The Nun. Some girls were very scared and went to the stables to be reassured with the horses. Nobody cried. Then they came back to start writing the blog. Others finished watching the movie. We had dinner, we ate burgers, delicious ! Thank you Michelle !!! To finish the day, we were going to an laser game. We left at 7:00 pm.
Thursday October 23th
Today, we woke up at 9:00 am, we dressed up and we had breakfast at 9:30, the same as the other day with Nutella, bread, cereals, cornflakes, butter, milk, tea, eggs, hot chocolate, apple and orange juice and speculoos dough. Then we went brush horses. Ines, Mailys and Liv brushed Badger, Albert, Georges, Jack and Rubix, Mathilde and Ines brushed Jamie and Annie, Louison and Lisa brushed Buster and Alf and Alienor and Garance brushed Brook. Mathilde with Jamie, Lisa with Swing, Louison with Shrek, Garance with Brook and Alienor with Buster went to a hack. Grace came with us on a bike. Louison and Lisa take another way to have a canter and the other girls came back in trot. Mailys with Zulu, Liv with Annie and Ines with Shrek jumped. Mailys were a little bit nervous about Zulu, but everything went good. Then we fed horses and had lunch. Mathilde, Mailys, Alienor, Lisa and Louison ate Croques Monsieurs, Ines ate a ham sandwich, Liv ate a chicken sandwich and Garance ate an egg-mayo sandwich. After that, we had a little break and had English class. We did exercises about three songs. There were blanks and we had to complete them. We lisent Viva la vida of Coldplayer, Moonlight of Ariana Grange and Thunder of Imagine Drangons.We went back to the stable to brush horses again and for Mathilde, Mailys and Liv’s jumping lesson they rode Swing, Shrek and Zulu. They did a single obstacle a few times and then a sequence of two. During this time, Ines, Louison, Lisa, Garance and Alienor sorted every brushes’ bag with a curry comb, a dandy brush, a body brush, a hoof pick and a sponge in each one. We cleaned the stable and took our shower. Now, we are writing the blog and we are going to eat soon !!
Friday October 24
Today we woke up at 9:00 am, we dressed up and had breakfast. It was the same breakfast as the other days and we finished the Nutella. We brushed our teeth and went to the stables. Mailys, Louison and Garance took Rory to his paddock, brushed him and prepared him for his lesson. Lisa and Liv took care of Zulu and Alienor, Mathilde and Ines took care of Annie. Mailys, Ines and Liv rode together for the first lesson, Mailys rode Rory, Liv rode Zulu and Ines rode Annie. They did flor pols. During this time, Lisa and Louison brushed Albert and took Shreck to the paddock to prepare him for the second group; Alienor brushed Swing and prepared him for the jumping lesson; Mathilde and Garance brushed Jack, brushed and washed the legs of Rubix and prepared him for the second lesson. The second group was Lisa with Shreck, Louison with Annie, Alienor with Swing and Garance with Rubix. They did jumping lessons, and during this lesson, some girls took videos of the jumpers and Liv washed Zulu’s tail. After that, Liv, Mailys and Mathilde did a hack, they rode Swing, Shreck and Brooke; Garance took care of Rubix with Lisa; at the same time, Louison gave a shower to Annie, Lisa joined her when she finished with Rubix and Garance. We gave lunch to horses and ponies. Afterward, Louison and Garance brought George and Zulu to the paddock, it was so funny, George did the crazy horse 😂. When the girls came back to the hack, they quickly brushed ponies and brought them to the Paddock. We had lunch, the same sandwiches as yesterday. We had a big break. During the break we needed to have a shower… but Grace asked Garance and Louison (at the moment, they didn’t have their shower) to bring Zulu and George because George is so crazy ! 😆 They brushed them, changed their rug and came back to have shower. At 4:30 pm, we all had English lessons, we finished an exercise about music and did a drama. We played the drama and went to a restaurant. Liv, Mailys, Alienor, Lisa, Ines and Garance took a pizza and Louison and Mathilde took a burger.
